Children's Liturgy of the Word
This will be a new ministry in the Fall of 2012. This ministry will serve young children (ages 5+) and provide age appropriate reflection on the Word of God. Families with children would attend the 10:00 am Mass together, and after the opening prayer the children would be called forward and be blessed. They join their teachers and other adults who assist and leave Mass to reflect on the Word of God in an age appropriate manner. They usually return to Mass during the Creed or Prayers of the Faithful to rejoin their families. The children share in reflection and activities to further teach about the meaning of the Word of God.Contact: Fr. John Evans, 801-984-7510
